Bong Joon Ho’s ‘Mickey 17’ Sets Max Premiere Date
'Mickey 17' has set a streaming launch date at Max, Warner Bros announced on Friday.
Written and directed by Bong Joon Ho, the filmmaker behind historic Oscar winner Parasite, Mickey 17 adapts the novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. The story follows unlikely hero, Mickey Barnes (Pattinson), who has found himself in the extraordinary circumstance of working for an employer who demands the ultimate commitment to the job… to die, for a living. Premiering at the 75th Berlin Film Festival in February, Mickey 17 was released in the U.S. in March, grossing around $132 million worldwide.
