Bon Jovi Docuseries ‘Thank You, Goodnight’ Set to Premiere on Hulu
The four-part series will celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary.
Religion of Sports’ Gotham Chopra will helm the doc, which is being made with the cooperation of all past and present members of the band and chronicles Bon Jovi’s rise from New Jersey clubs to global stadium headliners, recounting all the triumphs and toils along the way, including departures of founding members: the late bassist Alec John Such and guitarist Richie Sambora. The band, who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2018, has landed 11 albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200, including chart-toppers Slippery When Wet, New Jersey, Lost Highway and This House is Not for Sale. Chopra has worked on several noteworthy programs on such subjects as Tom Brady ( Tom v. Time and Man in the Arena), Kobe Bryant ( Kobe Bryant’s Muse), Lebron James ( Shut Up and Dribble), Stephen Curry ( Stephen v. The Game) and Simone Biles ( Simone v. Herself).
