Body found in search for wife of rugby legend who went missing after wild swimming
Police Scotland has recovered a body during the search for Jennifer Hastings, the wife of Scottish rugby legend Scott Hastings, who went missing after wild swimming near Edinburgh
An official statement from Police Scotland released this afternoon (Saturday, September 7) said that while formal identification was yet to take place, Jennifer's family had been informed. The statement said: "Around 3.20pm on Saturday, 7 September, 2024, the body of a woman was found in the Hound Point area of South Queensferry. Jenny's family, including her husband Scott, a former Scotland rugby union player, also released a statement.
