A week after revealing his diagnosis, Brigitte Poublon confirmed that her husband is "terminally ill" during a conversation with Fox News Digital. The actor's wife announced the news of his diagnosis in a March 25 Facebook post, writing, "It is with a heavy heart that we share Bobby has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Sherman made his television debut in episodes of Honey West and The Monkees before shooting to fame for his role as Jeremy Bolt in the 1968 western series Here Come the Brides.
