Bobby Brazier lands huge new role away from EastEnders

Bobby Brazier has landed a role in a new six-part crime thriller in a change of pace from his role in EastEnders, and will appear alongside two previous stars of the soap

The actor, who has won a National Television Award for his role as Freddie Slater in the soap, has joined the cast of Paramount+ drama Curfew, a six-part series that began filming in London earlier this year. Lucy Benjamin plays DCI Sue Ferguson, Pamela’s superior, while soap legend Anita Dobson is Janet, a woman who runs a ‘motherhouse’, a refuge-style home for women who do not wish to live with men. The cast also includes former Doctor Who companion Mandip Gill, singer/actress Alexandra Burke, Mayflies actor Mitchell Robertson and Gavin and Stacey’s Larry Lamb.
