Bob Barker’s Back on Daytime TV
In case you needed a new reason to call out sick from work, 1980s The Price Is Right is headed back to the small screen.
After years of requests from fans, the all-games network is finally adding throwback episodes of the CBS staple to its daily lineup, Vulture has learned. While Buzzr has long been home to most of the biggest game-show titles from the library of parent company Fremantle — Match Game, Password, and Press Your Luck — old-school TPIR has been conspicuously absent. Even better, Barker’s return to linear TV coincides with the second annual National Game Show Day, an admittedly made-up holiday that is nonetheless worth celebrating.
