Bleecker Street Buys Survival Thriller ‘Bone Lake,’ Sets Fall Release Date
Bleecker Street has nabbed U.S. rights to "Bone Lake," a darkly comedic survival thriller from director Mercedes Bryce Morgan.
Their dream getaway spirals into a “nightmarish maze of sex, lies and manipulation, bringing terrifying secrets to light and triggering a bloody battle for survival,” according to the official logline. Marco Pigossi (“High Tide,” “Gen V”), Maddie Hasson (“Elevation,” “Twisted”), Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave,” “Hot Summer Nights”) and Andra Nechita (“Matlock”, “The Sex Lives of College Girls”) star in the film. The deal was negotiated by Bleecker Street’s Avy Eschenasy and Miranda King, with LD’s Michael Glassman and UTA Independent Film Group on behalf of the filmmakers.
