Blake Lively’s Legal Team Has Responded To Justin Baldoni's $250-Million Lawsuit Against The New York Times

Among several claims, the lawsuit accuses Ryan Reynolds and Blake of allegedly “berating” Justin in an “inappropriate and humiliating” manner at their NYC penthouse while other celebrity guests walked in and out.

However, according to Justin’s lawsuit, the alleged full exchange shows that the use of an upside-down smiley face emoji and a previous message from Melissa — in which she states that she was not involved in the article's publication — were both omitted. The spokesperson also said, "Mr. Baldoni, Wayfarer* and the other subjects chose not to have any conversations with The Times or address any of the specific text messages or documents and instead emailed a jointresponse, which was published in full. The suit alleges that while training for a “physically demanding scene” in which his character would lift Blake’s, Justin — who suffers from back issues — asked his fitness trainer how much the actress weighed.
