Blake Lively’s ‘Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants’ Co-Stars Show Support Following Suit Against Justin Baldoni: “The Hypocrisy Is Astounding”

America Ferrera, Amber Rose Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel supported co-star Blake Lively after her suit against 'It Ends With Us' director Justin Baldoni.

“As Blake’s friends and sisters for over twenty years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation,” the joint statement, shared on Instagram, began. “Throughout the filming of It Ends With Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set, and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice.” In the post, the trio also allude to the “astounding” hypocrisy of the film’s premise — based on Colleen Hoover’s novel of the same name, which explores a relationship colored by domestic violence — and star/filmmaker Baldoni’s previous self-identification a staunch feminist ally.
