Though Spears has said she is effectively retired from the music industry as of now, last week it was reported that her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me, will get the biopic treatment after Universal Pictures secured the rights to the best-seller, with Wicked director Jon M. Chu and Marc Platt leading the project’s development.
