Blackpink’s Jisoo Signs With Warner Records for Solo Releases
Blackpink's Jisoo has signed a global label deal with Warner Records for her solo music releases.
In 2023, Blackpink announced their split from YG Entertainment, declining to pursue contracts with the agency for their solo endeavors. Blackpink was formed under YG in 2016, but as the quartet hit new levels of recognition and popularity worldwide, there was speculation that their deal would need to be substantially renegotiated in the artists’ favor. Individually, all the members of Blackpink have expanded their presence in the global entertainment industry with solo musical projects.
