Blackpink takes The White Lotus! K-Pop group member Lisa cast in highly-anticipated third season of the hit HBO comedy-drama series
According to Variety , the 26-year-old hitmaker will be making her official acting debut in the new season of the HBO program, which will be filmed in her native Thailand.
The program is centered on the interactions between the guests of various branches of the White Lotus luxury hotel chain, and the show's initial run took place in Hawaii. Both seasons of the show have boasted the talents of ensemble casts, and both installments of the program have featured Jennifer Coolidge in the role of Tanya McQuoid. Although the show's producers initially planned for the new run of episodes to take place in Japan, it was subsequently confirmed that the project's team would be heading to Thailand in October of last year.
