Blackpink member Jisoo and award-winning actor Park Jeong-min ‘s upcoming Korean zombie apocalypse series “ Newtopia ” is set to debut on Prime Video, the streaming service revealed on Wednesday. Park plays Lee Jae-yoon, a man completing his mandatory military service, while Jisoo takes on the role of Kang Young-joo, his girlfriend navigating early career challenges. The series marks Jisoo’s second major acting role following her lead performance in Korean studio JTBC’s “Snowdrop.” The K-pop idol-turned-actress previously made appearances in “The Producer” and “Arthdal Chronicles.”
