The Black Music Action Coalition and live-entertainment giant Live Nation are partnering to launch a music business intensive course and paid internship program to provide industry newcomers with “insight and the technical skills required to bring a show to the stage,” the organizations announced Thursday. “BMAC is in this mission towards equity for the long haul and we are honored to have the support from Live Nation to allow key staff and operations to continue this important work.” “Creating this one-of-a-kind program with BMAC helps us reach often overlooked talent, giving them tools and opportunities that will prepare and shape them into the future leaders of our industry.”
