Billy Joel's Record-Breaking Madison Square Garden Concert Special to Re-Air on CBS After Being Cut Short

The celebratory 100th show was commemorated in a special that aired Sunday, however, the program was cut short during the last song.

During the milestone moment, Joel performed a series of his hits including "Uptown Girl," "We Didn't Start the Fire," "Big Shot," and "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me." March's 100th show, which is part of what has been deemed "The Greatest Arena Run of All Time," comes before Joel ends his residency in the NYC venue after 10 years. "So, we have a lot of Taylor Swift, Billy Joel, Olivia Rodrigo, but they're his biggest fans," Roderick told ET in February at the 2024 GRAMMYs about their kids listening to his music at home.
