Billy Joel, 74, teases his first new single in 17 years - set for release in February: 'It's time to turn the lights back on'


Billy Joel took to social media on Monday with a special announcement for his fans.

The 74-year-old iconic music artist — who recently explained why he's selling his Long Island home — shared with his 684,000 followers that his first single in 17 years will be released on February 1. Turn the Lights Back On, which he teased with a few notes on the piano in a short video clip, will follow his 2019 song Christmas in Fallujah and 2007 tune All My Life. Joel's daughters Della, eight, and Remy, six, sang a rousing rendition of Jingle Bells with their father at Madison Square Garden last month
