Billy Joel and Rod Stewart announced a one-off July 18 gig at Yankee Stadium as part of Joel's roster of 2025 stadium shows.
Billy Joel announced a one-off summer 2025 gig with fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Rod Stewart at New York’s Yankee Stadium. The clip, cued to his melancholy 1976 track “New York State of Mind” flashed images of Joel on stage with those guests, as well as footage of stops in Japan and Canada and a nod to his historic 150th, and final, show in his Madison Square Garden residency. Nicks will share the stage with him on March 29 at Ford Field in Detroit and the last scheduled date so far this year, an August 8 show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
