Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan’s wife, Chloe Mendel Corgan, said that she and the couple’s son will ‘be OK’ after a car smashed through the window of the family’s tea shop
Immediately after the incident, Chloe shared in a statement that the circumstances “remain under investigation.” (Details about the driver’s identity or health status have not been publicly revealed.) “This afternoon, a car drove over the curb and into Madame ZuZu’s, crashing through the window and sadly injuring one person — my mother, Jenny, who was spending the day and lunching with my son Augustus,” Chloe wrote in a Wednesday statement posted on Instagram.
