Billy Corgan Will Play Smashing Pumpkins Classics and Deep Cuts on Tour — With a Different Band
Billy Corgan and the Machines of God will take on Smashing Pumpkins classics and deep cuts during a new June tour.
The tour, dubbed A Return to Zero, begins June 7 in Baltimore and features Corgan alongside a band that includes guitarist Kiki Wong (who recently joined the Pumpkins), drummer Jake Hayden, and bassist Kid Tigrrr (a.k.a. An 80-song box set — with 48 remixed and remastered album tracks, plus 32 demos, outtakes, and live recordings — will be sold exclusively through Corgan’s Madame Zuzu’s tea shop in Highland Park, Illinois. Corgan has also partnered with Chicago’s Lyric Opera to present A Night of Mellon Collie and Infinite Sadness, a special seven-performance series scheduled for Nov. 21-30.
