Bill Lawrence, Adam Horowitz & Edward Kitsis Team to Develop Carl Hiaasen Novel ‘Skinny Dip’ at Max (EXCLUSIVE)


The Carl Hiaasen novel "Skinny Dip" is being developed as a TV series at Max with Bill Lawrence onboard.

Variety has learned exclusively that a series version of Hiaasen’s novel “Skinny Dip” is currently in development at Max with Adam Horowitz& Edward Kitsis set to write and Lawrence attached as an executive producer. They were also previously executive producers on the hit ABC series “Lost” and have worked on shows like “Felicity” and “One Tree Hill.” In film, they are known for writing the screenplay for “Tron: Legacy,” which grossed over $400 million worldwide upon its debut in 2010. In addition to “Bad Monkey,” Lawrence also currently has the show “Shrinking” at Apple, with another season of the hit comedy “Ted Lasso” also rumored to be in the works.
