Bill Gates addressed his relationship with girlfriend Paula Hurd for the first time after his divorce from ex-wife Melinda Gates

Paula, who was previously married to late Oracle CEO Mark Hurd, made her red carpet debut with Bill in April 2024 at the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony. In a January interview with The Times of London, Bill called his divorce from Melinda, 60, the “mistake” he most has “regret” for — but went on to clarify the comments on Tuesday. “After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage,” Melinda wrote in a statement shared that May.
