Big Loud Sells Minority Stake in Morgan Wallen’s Catalog for $200 Million

Morgan Wallen's record label, Big Loud, has sold a minority stake in the singer's master recordings to Chord Music Partners for upward of $200 million.

A $200 million price tag for a minority stake in the catalog, which numbers around 90 songs, reflects Wallen’s enormous popularity. Three key members of the veteran rock group Genesis, including Phil Collins, sold their nearly 50-year catalog and most solo recordings for $300 million. That album features guest appearances from Tate McRae, Hardy, Post Malone, Ernest and Eric Church.
