Big Brother's Emily Parr is unrecognisable years after being axed for 'racist comment'
The 2007 Big Brother contestant made a much-publicised sudden departure from the famous house, and these days is trying to put her controversial past behind her
The former drama student was involved in a huge race row during her time on the reality show – which has recently returned for a new series on ITV – and the fallout saw her ejected from the house in the early hours of the morning as producers took swift action. She made her TV debut back in 2007 when she joined the Big Brother house for the show’s eighth series, which went on to be won by Brian Belo and also featured sisters Amanda and Sam Marchant as well as Ziggy Linchman and Chanelle Hayes. While not referencing the Big Brother incident, she said of the news: “It gives me a huge sense of peace knowing I have an explanation for the struggles I’ve faced, it doesn’t erase the frustration or the grief for the years spent battling myself.
