Beyonce’s Mom Tina Knowles Reveals Breast Cancer Diagnosis
Tina Knowles, the mother of Beyonce and Solange, detailed her breast cancer diagnosis and treatment in her new memoir 'Matriarch'
“She insisted I put her on speaker during my consult in the exam room with the infectious disease specialist,” Tina wrote of her eldest daughter. “It’s funny, because I’m doing the audiobook and some chapters, I’m still crying,” Knowles, 71, told Us Weekly exclusively at Habitat for Humanity Los Angeles’ 2025 Builders Ball. “Cancer-free and incredibly blessed that God allowed me to find it early,” she told the outlet, explaining her decision to share her health struggles in the book.
