Beyonce’s mom Tina Knowles said she did not post a ‘fake’ comment attributed to her in response to Dolly Parton’s comments about the CMAs
The fake comment in question appeared to take issue with Parton’s stance on Beyoncé receiving no nominations at the CMAs for her country-inspired album, Cowboy Carter. In an interview with Variety published on Tuesday, September 17, Parton said she didn’t think Beyoncé was intentionally snubbed from country music’s biggest night. While Beyoncé has yet to publicly comment on her lack of nominations, her father and former manager Mathew Knowles criticized the move in an interview with TMZ on September 9.
