Beyonce can trademark daughter Blue Ivy's name after 12-year battle


Beyoncé is now able to trademark her 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy's name after a lengthy legal battle as of Tuesday December 31, 2024 according to The Trademark Official Gazette.

'Within 30 days of the publication date, any party who believes it will be damaged by the registration of the mark may file a notice of opposition (or extension of time) with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board,' the document said. Tuesday's legal documents also claims the 12-year-old is the 'most famous baby in the world as noted by Time Magazine and the 'New Princess of Pop' per Rolling Stone; Jay0Z, Beyonce and Blue Ivy seen in August 2014 It was added: 'She has narrated a New York Times bestselling book (Hair Love), danced and performed on stage around the world, and regularly appears with her parents at various public events, with related social media posts garnering nearly a million likes.'
