Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter, 12, joins cast of Lion King prequel
Blue Ivy Carter is following in the footsteps of her famous mum and dad - Beyonce and Jay-Z - as she joins the cast for a new prequel to the hit Disney movie, Lion King
The teaser trailer was revealed on US breakfast show Good Morning America, where a voiceover described Mufasa as being born "without a drop of nobility in his blood" but someone who "would change our lives forever". The daughter of the music legendsmanaged to land in the Hot 100 after featuring on her mum’s track Protector, from the singer’s newly-released country album Cowboy Carter. In the emotional song, Beyoncé opens up about motherhood and sings about being proud of and protecting her three children, twins Rumi and Sir Carter, and daughter Blue.
