Beyoncé’s Flying Car Malfunctions During Houston Concert
Beyoncé’s hometown Houston gig hit a brief detour Saturday as the flying red car she rides on during "16 Carriages" malfunctioned above the crowd.
One of the major set pieces during the Cowboy Carter Tour features the singer cruising over the audience as she delivers the concert’s penultimate track in the suspended vehicle. During Saturday’s show at NGR Stadium, however, the car stalled, tilted and swayed, causing Beyoncé to pause mid-song and alert the crew. The road crew will have to act quick to mechanic the flying car’s issue, as Beyoncé is also set to perform Sunday at Houston’s NRG Stadium.
