Beyoncé Reveals New Album Title: ‘Act II: Cowboy Carter’
Beyoncé's upcoming album will be titled 'Act 2: Cowboy Carter,' the singer confirmed on her website on Tuesday. The project is due March 29.
“Texas Hold ‘Em” is almost entirely acoustic guitars, bass drum and vocals, with a chorus that concludes, “It’s a real-live boogie and a real live hoedown, don’t be a bitch just take it to the floor now.” The homepage of her website also shows a horse saddle with a red, white and blue sash that reads “Country Carter.” The first installment ended up mining heavily from dance and house music, paying homage to the Black queer community and club culture.
