Beyoncé Approves Use of Her Song 'Freedom' for Kamala Harris' Presidential Campaign


The Vice President recently received an endorsement from President Joe Biden following Biden's announcement that he is withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race.

Adding to the momentum, she gained a powerful endorsement from Grammy Award-winning singe r Beyoncé, who approved her to feature the hit song “Freedom” on the campaign trail. The Grammy-nominated single, known for its empowering lyrics "Imma keep running cause a winner don’t quit on themselves," became an anthem for Black Lives Matter marches following the death of George Floyd, who was killed by a police officer in Minneapolis in 2020. An unidentified source close to the Vice President told CNN that the team immediately secured approval from Beyoncé’s representatives to use the song throughout her presidential campaign.
