Beyoncé 'threatened to send a cease-and-desist' to Donald Trump's campaign over use of track Freedom

An insider said that the legal threat came after Trump's team used the track in a clip posted on the social media page of Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung Tuesday.

Beyoncé, 42, has threatened to send a cease-and-desist order to the presidential campaign of former President Donald Trump over their use of her 2016 track Freedom in a social media clip. Freedom was also used in a spot in conjunction with the Democratic National Convention kicking off earlier this week in Chicago, with Academy Award nominee Jeffrey Wright narrating over the track. Earlier this month, an insider told Dailymail.com that 'Beyoncé has cleared her schedule to attend a Kamala Harris fundraiser,' as she 'decided to step back in after people close to her showed her' Trump's Project 2025 plans.
