Betty White Will Be Honored With ‘Spritely’ USPS Stamp
The late Golden Girls actress Betty White will be celebrated with a new Forever stamp by the U.S. Postal Service next year.
Greg Breedong, a USPS art director, designed the stamp, which captures her “spritely sense of fun,” according to a description from the Postal Service. The organization will also celebrate the legacy of late pianist and composer Allen Toussaint for the USPS’s Black Heritage series, and will honor the work of Keith Haring with a stamp called “Love” featuring the artist’s 1985 drawing, Untitled. “Partners getting married, celebrating an anniversary, siblings sending each other a heartfelt greeting, or even party planners setting a positive tone for their event.”
