Better Homes and Gardens host Johanna Griggs reveals debilitating health battle

Better Homes and Gardens host Johanna Griggs revealed on Monday she suffered a debilitating health struggle with chronic fatigue syndrome when she was 17.

Johanna spent two and a half years in recovery eating a highly restricted bland diet which was free from wheat, yeast, egg, malt, sugar, dairy, herb, spice and caffeine. 'Not the most exciting pic I know, but I am happy to update that the surgery on my knee to clean up a couple of tears and years of damage went extremely well,' she wrote in the caption. 'Huge thanks to orthopaedic surgeon Dr Julian Yu who lived up to his legendary reputation, and to all the staff at Northern Beaches Hospital Sydney, who looked after me beautifully,' she continued.
