Bette Midler Shares Video Of Family Singing After Home Destroyed In Eaton Fire
Amid ongoing wildfires ravaging Southern California, Bette Midler platformed a display of resilience from one family who lost everything.
On Friday, the 2x Oscar nominee shared a video of the Halpin family singing “hallelujah” on the burned remains of their Altadena home, which was destroyed this week in the Eaton Fire. Fires have broken out in the Pacific Palisades, Eaton Canyon, Malibu, the Hollywood Hills and other areas around Los Angeles County amid a “life-threatening and destructive” windstorm that picked up Tuesday. As of Saturday, at least 11 people have died in the Southern California wildfires, which has burned 14,117 acres in the Eaton Canyon area, destroying 972 structures, many of which were homes.
