Bette Midler reveals she regrets not SUING co-star Lindsay Lohan for her sitcom Bette getting cancelled: 'I couldn't make myself clear'


Bette Midler has revealed she regrets not suing former co-star Lindsay Lohan after their sitcom Bette was canceled.

At the time, Lohan was fresh off the success of her 1998 film The Parent Trap, and just a few years away from being cast in some of her biggest hits, including Freaky Friday (2003) and Mean Girls (2004). Although the star said she had prior experience making films, doing theatrical live events and variety television shows, she had 'never done a situation comedy.' Although it is unclear if Midler still resents Lohan's choice, the mother-of-one posted a sweet throwback of them on set together just last week as she recalled having a 'blast filming' with the Broadway legend
