Bethenny Frankel, 53, announces hiatus from podcast 'to grieve' after her mother Bernadette dies at 73: 'I will continue in the coming weeks'
The Real Housewives of New York City alum, 53, shared a statement via Instagram to share that she is taking the time and space to process the loss of her mother Bernadette Birk.
She announced that her mother — with whom she had a complicated relationship and was previously estranged for over a decade — passed away at age 73 last Friday following a battle with lung cancer 'I have chosen to temporarily remove my divorce podcast as a result of an overwhelming response and an influx of messages that have converged with the most significant loss of my life,' she wrote over a plain background on her Instagram Story. The couple filed for divorce one month after their split in January 2013 and began a years-long custody battle over their daughter Bryn, 13.
