‘Godzilla x Kong: Supernova’ will star Kaitlyn Dever of ‘The Last of Us.’
The teaser is set in an Arizona-based call center receiving hundreds of notifications regarding a “titan” sighting, panning to a computer screen that displays the phone number (240) MONARCH. If called, a recorded voice memo says “Your help reporting titan sightings plays a critical role in keeping our world safe” before prompting the listener to sign up for text updates about the film. While the Supernova plot remains under wraps — and it’s unclear if Mothra will return — the teaser is set in Sedona, Arizona, where the spiderlike titan Scylla reawoke in 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
