Bernie Sanders Introduces Clairo During Coachella Performance, Encourages Attendees to Speak Out: ‘What Happens to America Is Dependent Upon Your Generation’
Bernie Sanders made an appearance at Coachella to introduce Clairo's set.
Clairo got a political introduction to her Coachella set on Saturday night from none other than Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, who appeared to encourage young attendees to engage in contemporary issues and thank the singer-songwriter for using her platform to express her views. On Inauguration Day, she tweeted “Witchcraft on Trump ASAP,” not long after revealing that she voted for Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. Congressman Maxwell Frost of Florida was the first to appear on the stage to introduce Sanders, who began by commending Clairo for allowing him to speak at the festival.
