Bernard Hill, 'Titanic' and 'Lord of the Rings' Star, Dead at 79


According to his agent, Hill died early Sunday morning.

Hill was set to appear at Comic Con Liverpool with other stars of the Lord of the Rings franchise including, Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan. Following the acclaimed role, in 2002, Hill joined Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings franchise during the second installment,The Two Towers-- where he played King Théoden. - Shirlaine Forrest/Getty ImagesIn 2015, Hill starred in Wolf Hall, where he played Duke of Norfolk, Anne Boleyn's uncle.
