Next year’s Berlin Film Festival will run from February 13 to 23.
Rissenbeek and Chatrian have been jointly running the festival since 2019 under a dual management structure put in place following the departure of Berlinale long-time director Dieter Kosslick after 18 years at the helm. High-profile films currently tipped for the Croisette include George Miller’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, which Cannes chief Thierry Frémaux has said he “hopes” will debut at the fest. Tatanka Means ( Killers of The Flower Moon), Grace Dove (The Revenant), and Golden Globe nominee Irene Bedard (The New World) have signed on to star in the Neo-Western Drama pilot Shady Cove, which is currently shooting in Bend, Oregon.
