Benson Boone to Receive Champion Award at BMI Pop Awards
Benson Boone is set to receive the champion award at the BMI Pop Awards on May 13 at Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills.
The performing rights organization will recognize Boone “as one of today’s most exciting hitmakers,” per Barbara Cane, VP of BMI Worldwide Creative. “Benson Boone has reshaped the global soundscape of culture and music with an indomitable spirit and love of craft, artistry, and performance,” said Cane. Boone is continuing to reach new heights this year, with the release of his latest single “Sorry I’m Here For Someone Else,” his upcoming Coachella debut, and a new album arriving this summer.
