Benson Boone Performs ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ With Queen’s Brian May In Coachella Tribute
As Benson Boone kicked off Coachella 2025, he paid tribute to Queen with a little help from a founding member of the legendary group.
Beginning the performance at the piano, Boone wore a fur coat of which Freddie Mercury would approve before getting up to work the stage and peeling off the layer to reveal his signature sparkly blue onesie. May, who co-founded the British rock group in 1970 with Mercury, Roger Taylor and John Deacon, ascended from the stage to accompany Boone on guitar. Headliners for Coachella 2025 include Lady Gaga, Green Day and Post Malone, also featuring performances by Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, Zedd, Shaboozey, Ty Dolla Sign, Misfits, Prodigy, FKA Twigs and Jimmy Eat World.
