Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike & Anthony Hopkins To Star In Guy Ritchie & Black Bear’s ‘Wife & Dog’ About The “Back-Stabbing World Of The British Aristocracy”
Filming is due to get underway early next year on Guy Ritchie's Wife & Dog, about the "back-stabbing British aristocracy."
Plot details are being kept under wraps on the movie, but it’s described as a “return to the colourful, back-stabbing world of the British aristocracy Richie explored in The Gentlemen film and TV series.” Black Bear launched sales on the titles in Cannes earlier this year, and the film marks the company’s third collaboration with Ritchie and Atkinson following The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and In the Grey. Sales continued on David Michôd’s untitled Christy Martin film starring Sydney Sweeney as the champion boxer; Leslie Mann and Isla Fisher comedy Spa Weekend, from the Bad Moms filmmaking team; Leo Woodall and Dustin Hoffman heist thriller Tuner; Gregg Araki’s provocative thriller, I Want Your Sex, starring Olivia Wilde; and an untitled Jason Statham action movie.
