The broadcaster, 49, is bidding farewell to the breakfast news show after a decade of hosting in order to join Cat Deeley as the new permanent hosts of This Morning.
The likes of Susanna Reid, Alex Beresford, Dr Amir Khan and the West Ham mascot - teddy bear Bubbles - ran on to present a segment of his bet bits. He was then surprised with an array of funny gifts from the crew, including a cake in the shape of an alarm clock set to 3.15 (Ben's wakeup time for GMB) and a blanket adorned with the faces of his co-stars. Ben choked back tears as he closed the show, admitting: 'I won't miss the alarm clock but I know as soon as I get in here I'll be surrounded by you incredible, chaotic, annoying, wonderful people.
