Ben Shephard has thanked fans for their "lovely messages" after he and Cat Deeley completed their first week on This Morning - adding that he'll need to 'fast' next week, he's eaten so much
Cat responded to the post saying it had been "so fun" and revealed she was trying out a steak recipe inspired by chef Donal Skehan, who had been on the show during the week. The day before, Cat expressed her gratitude to the This Morning team for an "incredible first week" and complimented Ben for being the "perfect co-pilot on this already joyous new journey". After admitting to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague, Phillip Schofield exited ITV in May 2023 and was let go by his talent agency.
