Ben Fogle's 'life flashed before his eyes' in near death incident

TV presenter and writer Ben Fogle has opened up about a recent near-death experience that saw him narrowly avoid being by a delivery van while he was out walking his dog near

He shared with fans that where he lives in a village outside Henley, Oxfordshire, pedestrians are forced to walk on a single-track road as there are no pavements. And recalling the near-death experience, he described how he was on the road with his dog, before continuing: "A delivery driver driving at the perfectly legal, but obviously dangerous 60mph careered around one of the many blind bends, threw on its brakes and skidded to a halt just a few feet from me and my do. He also shared that his children have been forced to cycle or ride horses down these dangerous roads, due to a lack of other other options, and have both had encounters with "spending traffic."
