Ben Affleck and Matt Damon to Star in Crime Thriller ‘RIP’

'Smokin' Aces' filmmaker Joe Carnahan is set to direct.

The film package is currently making its way around town and has Joe Carnahan, the filmmaker behind Smokin’ Aces and The Grey, attached to direct and write the script. Artists Equity recently struck a deal with Lionsgate to distribute drama Small Things Like These, which stars Cillian Murphy and premiered at the Berlin Film Festival. Affleck and Damon founded the outfit on the principle of offering profit participation to more of the cast and crew, including below-the-line talent.
