Beloved game show series is given the axe from ITV bosses - despite promising it was 'just being rested'


ITV's Epic Gameshow has reportedly been given the axe after it was previously announced as 'just being rested'.

The Saturday night show aired three successful seasons and ITV insiders previously told The Mirror that the series wouldn't be back on screens in 2023 as it was being rested 'Plus, he has shows on the BBC including Picture Slam and Interior Design Masters, and will soon be heading out to Spain to make another series of his home make-over programme with Amanda Holden'. Beloved comedian Alan Carr, 47, hosted the series from 2020 until December 2022 and a TV insider claimed he 'won't be taking this too hard' (the axing of the show) as he's not short of other projects
