Beloved boy band and EastEnders star unrecognisable 24 years since chart hits
Declan Bennett rose to fame as a member of boy band Point Break before going on to carve out a career in TV and theatre, including a role in EastEnders as a Cotton family member
The actor and singer portrayed Charlie Cotton - the grandson of EE legend Dot Cotton- in the BBC One soap, and looked worlds away from his pop star days. He has continued to work in theatre, having starred in a production of Carousel in 2021 before creating the one-man show Boy Out the City, which premiered in Ireland in October 2021, followed by London the following month. He previously lived in New York City but now resides in Oxfordshire with his partner, fellow actor and singer Fra Fee, who recently starred in the BBC's new queer adoption drama, Lost Boys and Fairies.
