Beck Will Reinvent His Catalog on an Orchestral Tour
Beck will hit eight cities backed by local orchestras and his longtime band
Among other songs, the setlists highlighted work Beck created with his father, composer David Campbell, whose string arrangements on Sea Change and Morning Phase laid the groundwork for these shows. After the orchestra’s 90-minute appearance, Beck and his band shifted gears, playing “Devil’s Haircut” and “Loser” to round out the evening. The 2025 tour will feature Beck’s regular backing musicians — guitarist-bassist Jason Falkner, keyboardist Roger Manning, and drummer Joey Waronker — along with the orchestras.
